"I Married Joan" brightened young Ciro's life during its successful rerun period of the late 1950s-early 1960s. Joan's seemingly boundless energy, unabashed silliness, and comic precision was a source of great inspiration. It was no secret in the family that IMJ was his favorite show. So much so that when this fourth-grader came home from school on the day Joan Davis died, his Mom said, "Sit down. I have some bad news for you..." Ciro has had a successful 30+year career in musical theatre, incorporating much of what he learned from watching Joan to great effect. This channel is a chance to pay her back. We hope that the "Joan Davis Channel" gives you as much enjoyment as we get from sharing her work. Thank you for watching!
