When I went to Paris, I never realized how much there was to know about Fragrance. This video will give you tips and pointers on the do's and don'ts for perfumes. Sorry for the high pitch Sssss, it's because I just moved into my place and I don't have a lot of furniture to absorb sound yet. Ssss sounds will echo off the walls and the mic picks everything up. Please let me know what are YOUR tips and pointers for fragrance. I'm sure I missed some details! :) I used Lancome's new perfume Tresor in Love http://bit.ly/bLPk40 music by Michelle Shaprow Always Belong to You Purchase the music here for just .99 cents! http://bit.ly/acj4Lm ♥ Follow me on twitter! ♥ http://www.twitter.com/ricebunny ♥ http://twitter.com/lancomeparis ♥ If you have a Facebook, please add me! ♥ http://www.facebook.com/pages/Michelle-Phan/53754642881 ♥ Lancome's Facebook Fanpage ♥ http://www.facebook.com/lancome This is the monthly Lancome sponsored video.

Jan 29, 2012 - Scents last longer on well-hydrated skin, so moisturize with unscented lotion first (let it absorb) before applying your fragrance :)

Jan 30, 2012 - It would've been nice to read something about the subject before. It's so easy to read about perfumes. And you can find it oll over internet dear MichellePhan. I found some big mistakes in this video immediately. And unfortunately all yours video are. Try to study and prepare before filming a video. Take it like an opinion and as a constructive criticism.

Feb 1, 2012 - Am I the only one who never notices her 's' lisp everyone complains about? ...Anyways that explains alot, however be careful about how much you spray perfume in your hair. Because perfume normally has at least moderate alcohol amounts, it will dry and fade your hair (if you color) after a bit.

Feb 2, 2012 - @3107timtim There are little to no flaws in this film. I am sure that she does practice and rehearse before she put a video on YOUTUBE. Besides, I am pretty sure your videos aren't perfect. But thanks for the rude comments.

Feb 3, 2012 - Helpful video, but actually keeping your fragrance in the fridge will stop the scent dissipating as well so you won't be able to smell it as well as compared to when it's room temperature.

Feb 4, 2012 - @FreeRealmsPlayer807 Actually no I'm not..I'm using physics as my source. The fact is that at a colder temperature, particles don't have as much kinetic energy. This means they move much slower. Of course it won't reduce the number of molecules, I wasnt saying that. But it will reduce their speed so the chemical molecules will take longer to reach your nose, So you wont be able to smell it as easily.
millyybabess Says:
Feb 4, 2012 - @FreeRealmsPlayer807 That's why you apply perfume to your pulse points; because your skin is warmer due to the blood close to the skin surface. The warmth will give the chemical molecules more kinetic energy so will move faster, and you can therefore smell it more easily. But if your perfume has been in the fridge, it'll take much longer to warm up.
