All I want to do is sell my furniture in a single transaction. I am looking for $800. Apart my personal items such as clothes and shoes (and toothbrush!), you can have everything for $800. If you need an apartment too, you should take this apartment. It will save you costs of moving, and its fantastic value - my lease expires 30 Jun 2010, so you need to negotiate directly with the landlord (I will provide details). I pay $1,500 per month. If you want to move in earlier than 30 Jun, you can take over the remaining part of my lease and I will be happy to go home early. Location: Hell's Kitchen / Clinton. Popular amongst 20-30s crowd, full of great restaurants (unbelievable variety for take-out, delivary or dine-in). Walking east, a few minutes from Theatre district, about 10 minutes walk to Times' Sq., and 5 minutes walk to either of the Blue line (A, C, E lines), Red line (1 line), or Yellow line (N, R, W). Walk east and you are 5 minutes from Riverside. This area is safe and extremely clean. Madison Sq. Garden, Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, Penn Station, Columbus Circle, Central Park - I have walked to all these spots from my apartment in under 20 minutes. For Columbia University Students, the M11 goes from 10th Ave and stops outside School of Int'l Public Affairs (SIPA) / Columbia Law School. Takes about 35 minutes in the morning / evening and about 50 minutes in the afternoon. If you want to take the subway, you need to walk 10 minutes to the Red line (1 line). Door-to-door journey will take about 30 minutes each way in total. Rent: US$1,500 (you will have to negotiate directly with the owner, I am leaving end June) Furniture: The furniture is all mine. Most of it is under 2 years old. It will include a study desk, leather chair for the desk, 2 air-conditioners, kitchen utensils, bed + mattress (and full bedding), a sofa-bed, TV DVD player, floor lamps, Kitchen table + 4 chairs. I will sell it all to the new incumbent for US$800.
