[Jump to 25 seconds to see the chair movement.] Sorry for the noise... that's a basset hound for you. We setup a video camera to try to determine which of our three dogs was dragging items out of the doggie door to the back yard. Our basset hound (Brad Pitt) was chasing our large mutt (Bruiser). Brad is the noisy one. When we arrived home, we notice the long chaise lounge chair (which is not a light piece of furniture) pushed up against the wall. Upon viewing the video, we notice that Bruiser (who weighs about 85 pounds) jumped on the chair, and it did move. However, the angle and FORCE of the chair movement do not seem right. The dog's angle and strength jumping on the chair do not seem to coincide with the force and direction the chair moved. I could be wrong. Please watch the video and let me know what you think. ALSO, please notice how Bruiser immediately tries to jump off the moving chair. As he is springing off the chair, his hind end gets swung around. This is odd. Finally, in the moments after he jumps off the chair, his rough-housing demeanor is somewhat calmed. I'm not sure if he is startled. This dog is large, but he has the mind of a puppy and scares very easily. Did the dog upset a spirit, or am I just trying to see something that isn't there?
