This is the companion personal space to the Granzella beach public space, introduced exclusively to Japan Home on September 8, 2011. The space has a couple of direct links (launch locations) to the Granzella public space. In the public space you can search for treasure underwater (like the removed iRem beach) or race a jet ski (a lot like the Red Bull Air Racers). The space is small...but is divided up into many levels making it seem quite a bit bigger than it is. Only when trying to place furniture in it, did I realize how small it is. The main room (on the first floor) has a door leading to the cliffside bonfire in the public space...or you can go out on a series of decks to get to the cliffside catwalks of the public space. There is a staircase leading to the second floor (bedroom? sitting room?). The second floor doesn't have room for much more than a couple of chairs. Out on the balconies/decks of the second floor, you can reach a private mini garden area (but you can't place any furniture in the garden - I wanted to put my robot there). From the deck there is a circular wooden stair leading up onto the thatched roof. You can sir on a few ledges on roof. The lower roof seating area only let's you fall back to the deck on the main floor instead of remaining on the roof. The space has a constantly changing day and night timed with Japan local time (I made this recording at 07.00 Tokyo time...so you see a bit of dawn still left in the sky). At night the bonfires are lit and there are fireworks in the sky. Granzella has leaned heavily on the features iRem had already introduced to Home for their spaces. But they are well done and I hope these show up in Europe and America soon.
