SAO PAULO Some of my dearest friends have craze to find Rio Sao Paulo like New York. I disagree with them. Just think Sao Paulo like New York who does not know the city well. Or rather, who knows superficially and think that St. Paul is just a huge Oscar Freire Street. In fact, the great fascination of St. Paul is to look like many cities at the same time and, therefore, does not resemble at all. Sao Paulo, among many other similarities, looks like Arouche Square in Paris, Salvador Brás Station, Tokyo Liberty in Rome next to the Municipal Theatre, Munich in Santo Amaro, Lisbon Pari, in Soho London in Vila Madalena and the Olinda in Pernambuco Townshend. Sao Paulo is a sum of qualities and flaws, joys and sorrows, celebrations and tragedies. It has luxury hotels, like Fasano, Emiliano and L'Hotel, but there are people sleeping under bridges. It has the stunning setting of the sun and the Alto de Pinheiros Cantareira lush vegetation, but also has the air most polluted in the country. Promotes concerts by the Rolling Stones and U2, but also promotes accidents like the crater of the subway and the TAM plane in Congonhas. St. Paul is always surprising. A group of half a dozen Italian means São Paulo, one Japanese, one of Bahia, one Chinese, one German and one Curitiba. Sao Paulo is really curious. For example, many have great football teams, one of which bears the name of the city and acquired the nickname "the dearest." But in fact, the greatest and most beloved is the Corinthians, which has an English name, is close to the Portuguese and was founded by Italians, just like your enemy, pet Palmeiras. St. Paul was born of the holy Jesuit priests in 1554, but came to 2007 with celebrity as the permissive Oscar Maroni, of the famous Bahamas. St. Paul has been called "the tomb of Samba" by Vinicius de Moraes, something Adoniran Barbosa, Paul and Germano Mathias Vanzolini proved to be not true, and despite the slight awkwardness of his girls, correctly noted by Caetano Veloso, has produced chic as Dener Pamplona de Abreu and Gloria Kalil. In St. Paul makes the best pizzas of Naples, the best sushi in Tokyo, Lagareira better than Lisbon and pastries fair better than those of Paris, because there are no pastels in Paris, much less fair. At times, St. Paul finds the most other horror. Nowhere on earth is as Manichean. Paul had the good sense to imitate the locals and bars are now the locals who walk the imitating imitations of São Paulo. Sao Paulo had the bad sense of being the first Brazilian city to import the CowParade, an appalling manifestation of colonized and subarctic urban, and now the river does the same. Sao Paulo is visually polluted with CowParade, but clean up the Clean City Project. They now have to urgently start clean up the Tiete for real, something that the British have proven to be quite possible with the Thames. Even clean up the Tiete, keeping the city clean, purifying the air, arranging furniture, regulating the architectural design, reducing noise intrusion and improving traffic, St. Paul will never be a beautiful city. Because the beauty of St. Paul is not the result of mother nature, is the work of man. Resides mainly in the many opportunities the city offers the atmosphere of excitement, the blending of races and social classes. Sao Paulo is the city that the democratization of beauty, a phenomenon generated by mixing, best manifested. Sao Paulo is a city in the body and the hands of men worked all right, something that is recognized by observing the girls who roam the streets. It works as is confirmed by analyzing the school yard (place of foundation of the city), the Station of Light (what is now the Museum of the Portuguese Language), the Monastery of St. Benedict, the Oca in Ibirapuera Park, the Terrace Italy , Avenida Paulista, the SESC Pompeii, the villa Vila Penteado, MASP, the Latin America Memorial, the Holy House of Mercy, the Art Gallery and a host of places in this city that can not stop until it has more cars that parking lots. Sao Paulo is geographically beautiful, has no blue seas, white sand or jagged mountains. Our most famous surfer Bruna, and our climbers, most of them are social. But even if we take the trial to the item of natural beauty, St. Paul's world for a reason very well technically proven. Among the world's largest cities such as Tokyo, New York and Mexico City, on the proximity of beauty, Sao Paulo is triggered, the better. Because it is the only one who is only 45 minutes flight from Rio de Janeiro. The most important thing is that this distance with no stray bullet can reach Sao Paulo!
