The air was humid and moist; drops of sweat formed over her forehead and the palm of her hands were clammy. She paced along the sidewalk, gently tugging her brunette locks into a messy bun. "I need help with girl, Demi..." She mocked with her vowels pronounced in deep loathe. She jerked her feet up the steps to his house, wanting nothing more than to turn around and forget everything. Not taking full consideration, she intrudingly yanked the knob and pulled the door open, allowing the lovely lavender scent of the household to fulfill her nostrils. Demi stepped forward, observing the walls and furniture as if it was the first time she'd ever visited him. Without properly being aware of what she was doing, she swiftly secured the door and began strolling around the living, smiling as her brown orbs gazed upon childhood pictures of Joe's parents, family and even her. "Bring back memories?" She shot her eyes up, her smiling fading when she saw the boy entered the room. "Yes, actually" she snapped with a bitter accent. Her hands placed on her hips, a burning sensation posessed her sore throat. Joe merely beamed, his hands traveling down into his pockets. "Let's go to my room." He tore his gaze away from Demi, and headed towards the stairs. Her thin eyebrow raised and the corner of her lip slant up. He seemed... off. Like he wasn't himself. Shaking her head, she tried to avoid any thoughts of hope. They just weren't meant to be, and she needed to accept that. - - - - - - - - "Are you trying to hook up with a teacher or something?" Demi questioned. She was lying on her back, her head dangling off the end of his bed, staring while he cut small squares from blank sheets of paper. He chuckled. "Nah. I wouldn't make out with someone that gives me homework." His muscular arms folded, and kicked his Nikes off the ground, smoothly veering his direction to the brunette. "Come here." Again, she saw difference. She couldn't remember the last time his voice didn't sound demanding, but more of a request. She let her legs hang off the bed, pushed off and stood behind him. Shifting her tank-top strap to a proper place on her shoulder, she leaned forward as her chin rested on his shoulder. "What is all this?" The warmth of her breath against his ear gave no effect, but he grinned. "It's ingenious, Demetria." Brushing the paper squares closer to Demi, his blackened nails arranged the individual pieces into her name, Ami Delvoot. "Now," his voice raspy and crumbled, "Change the name into another word, like so." He glided the letters apart, putting the aside some of them and re-arranging the letters. Demi glanced above his shoulder, and her voice hitched. "Love." Joe, now cunningly smirking, spun around and Demi reluctantly backed up. "I think you've got the point." Standing up, his shoulder grazed against hers, tauntingly, and his body fell against the mattress. The palms of his hands swam under his neck and his spheres stared bluntly at the ceiling. She didn't waste a second bothering to ask question and sat down on the heated stool. Her elbows crashed against the desk as her caramel eyes scanned the letters. Feeling the desperate urge to spit on them and walk out, she sucked in her lower lip. One word ran through her head: Agony. - - - - - - - - Hours passed by and Joe hadn't said a word. Demi's had so many thoughts racing though her brain that she partly forgot what she was supposed to be doing. The letters spelled out, "im love a dot." She kept reading the same sentence over and over again, smiling stupidly and un-intentionally. Thinking about Joe, she gazed over to him and her smile diminished when she saw his eyes were closed. Exhaling deeply, her lips slipped over each other. Searching over the letters once more, her eyes narrowed and her nails clacked into the desk. "Wait... love a dot... lovad..." She moved the letters, murmuring the small bits of word. "Lovato." Her heart beat paced uncontrollably and then she skimmed the pile of leftover letters. Intently and obediently, her cleanly-shaped fingertips skated over the last squares. She lost her breath. Demi Lovato. "Weird." The auburn flinched and her marbles broadened as she heard his luscious voice. Joseph hauled the hedge of the stool and stared at her with a curved smile upon his marvelous, plump chops. She was speechless and confused, but the look in his eyes gave her a clue that it was no mistake that 'Ami Delvoot' actually spells 'Demi Lovato'. "I-I don't understand. Why does her name spell mine?" "May I introduce to you, Ami Delvoot." His smile grew as his hands positioned on opposing side of her, trapping the beauty against the wood of the desk. "Of course, she's known to the world by a different name." Her eyes closed as the tenderness and sincerity of his lips captured her own as he mumbled seductively, "Demi."
