Jan 15, 2012 - Damn, I wish that Kadokawa and Youtube didn't blocked my last acc with whole anime uploaded. I just got used to working with videos and uploading. :(

Jan 31, 2012 - Hasn't seen Clannad: After Story.

MrBenny147 Says:

Jan 31, 2012 - Have, actually. I personally I found the Fuko incident in the original sadder than Nagisa and Ushio dying in that I never found their characters particularly attractive. That said, when the characters disappeared in Angel Beats! , it was truly the saddest anime I've ever seen.

ilyLaura1 Says:

Jan 31, 2012 - Angel Beats! had a certain appeal for me, personally, so I wouldn't want to tear it down too much. But objectively, it was considerably flawed, unavoidably slow-paced, and if you want to talk characters, I actually thought the total opposite of you: the characters in Angel Beats! didn't have much time to develop at all. We know Yuri's family died, but that just served as a generic "and I'll never give up!" catalyst. Angel is just the socially oblivious,...

ilyLaura1 Says:

Jan 31, 2012 - ...good intentioned, innocent, quiet girl of the series. She's a step up from Yuri, though, if only for her originally crafted relationship with Yuzuru, who might be the one exception here in mediocre characters. I'll exclude Hinata for obvious reasons. Still, I did enjoy the anime a lot, and did cry. Just not nearly as much as Clannad. The characters there, especially Okazaki, were just much better. Even if you didn't like Nagisa or Ushio...

ilyLaura1 Says:

Jan 31, 2012 - ...you could definitely sympathize with him. Some stuff in Angel Beats! wasn't fleshed out very well, like the whole Angel computer program and that space's existence as it relates to computers. Clannad was just much better, in my opinion, but to each his own. I enjoyed both. Key did a great job.

MrBenny147 Says:

Jan 31, 2012 - Woah, long reply. Anyway, I see what you mean. To me both Clannad and Angel Beats! had their various aspects that made them appealing. For the character development, I think it was simply due to the small number of episodes and because of this, most of the of the other members of the SSS were really just minor characters that stood there with no backstory. Angel for me was particularly interesting in that her motives were completely misread for the first half of the story though...

MrBenny147 Says:

Jan 31, 2012 - ...that may be a fault of hers as she didn't really even attempt to end the conflict with the SSS. In a contest for sadness, Angel Beats! would win in my opinion as the scenes of emotional impact were so well conveyed that it was hard not to cry. Clannad on the other hand, serves a different purpose for me. It's a real "slice of life" in that there are memorable characters where nearly all of them got character arcs (particularly Tomoyo) and shows that most of the events in...

MrBenny147 Says:

Jan 31, 2012 - ...Clannad really could happen. All in all, they each have their own positives and negatives and for that, I like them both.

Apr 14, 2012 - there's always that one jackass that has to dislike a good video -_-

JROCK50054 Says:

Apr 14, 2012 - Clannad was fiction..SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER on episode 22 of the after story, Nagisa didn't just show him how their lives would've been together if she hadn't died. those miraculous blue lights they spoke of took Tomoya back to the time where Nagisa 1st died (when Ushio was born) made it that Nagisa lived, the part where they were showing them together was just basically a summary of what happened after that..the ending...I loved the alternate ending of season 1 though. Tomoya Tomoyo ^_^

MrBenny147 Says:
