In response, the Small and Medium Business Corporation is supporting a training academy for young entrepreneurs to help them realize their dreams. Reporter: This training academy in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, cultivates young entrepreneurs. One participant, Kim Young-ho, won the gold medal at the International Specialist Trade Fair "iENA 2011" in Germany for his creative invention: a steam-cleaning machine for furniture. He now runs his own appliance company. Interview - Kim Young-ho, appliance company CEO A government program launched last year to support new businesses covered part of my development costs. Then I came here and received great advice through the mentorship system. A lighting designer, Baek Doo-san attends the academy to gain knowledge that is helping his new design business thrive. Interview - Baek Doo-san, CEO / a design company I did not know how to show my products off to consumers. Thanks to the practical advice I received, now my company is engaging in effective marketing activities and even has its own factory. This academy is accepting applications until February 20 from aspiring entrepreneurs and first-time business owners under the age of 39. The academy increases chances of success by giving evaluation three times and providing phase-in supporting system such as developing sales channels.
