謝一鳴（Tse Zaru, Xie Yi-Ming）｜Pega DE Zaru Tse，謝一鳴，1984出生，香港人。於香港理工大學工業設計系畢業。在學期間一半時間都不在香港, 不停遊走多個亞洲, 歐洲多個地方如東京，台灣，新加坡，倫敦，荷蘭，巴黎等。 在我長時間的觀察多個地方的生活文化，反而對自己生活的文化愈來愈難定義，也愈來愈感興趣。畢業後覺得在香港看中華文化的範圍太小，往北京開始第一份工作，為時兩年。現長居上海。雖然在工作中，往往設計最著重的是外觀。可是，當一個產品要從一個故事說起，要加入人與人的情感與思想時就會發現材質是很重要的一環。 由於工作在工業快速成形的世界好一陣子，反而導致我更愛去研究不同材料的可塑造性，也加深我對工藝設計的了解。這幾年我對陶的興趣愈來愈大，因為它可以應用的範圍不單非常擴，而且陶不只是一種素材，而是一代文化，一種傳承。我發現陶有異於其他素材: 木材可能會令人想起傢俱，塑膠可能會令人想起家用小產品等等, 而陶是沒有的。陶對我來說，區分在於地區，每一個地方文化的不一樣，而每個地方的陶瓷成形方法也不同。 我觀察到，雖然我們生活的時代被愈來愈急促的量產生活包圍，依然對手感與工藝痕跡的存留這件事情非常在乎。然而，接下來也許是工業設計與工藝設計結合而產生的一場新火花。 Zaru Tse, Xie Yiming, born in 1984, HongKongese. Graduated in Industrial Design in Hong Kong Polytechnic University Industrial Design. Spend about half time in travelling since studies around Asia and Europe, such as Tokyo, Taiwan, Singapore, London, Netherlands, Paris, etc. I take a very long time in obverse different culture, but it made me confusing with the place I grew and lived. However, it made me very interested in it also. After graduated I decided to leave Hong Kong to discover more in our own culture and life, I started my first job in Beijing for two years and now, I live in ShangHai. Although my work is focusing at appearance of product, but I know a good design should be started from a good story. And more human being, also materials are a very important part. As a world of industrial rapid prototyping, but I love to find out the potential in different material. In recent years I am addicted in ceramic, because it is very unexpected and has wide range of applications. Moreover ceramic is not just a material, but the generation of culture, a tradition. I found the ceramic differs from other materials: for example the wood presents material of the furniture; the plastic presents material of small household products, etc. And ceramic can presents everything as depends on the region, different culture made different with the ceramic forming methods. I observed although we live in a rapid production of period, but still considered on the sense and craft on design process. So the next is, maybe it is the period of the combination of industrial design and craft design.
