I didn't receive as many comments on the last episode as I would have liked. Please send the series to your friends! I'll love you forever :D Nick blinked a few times, trying to clear his vision and fully open his eyes. When he'd managed to open his eyes, he looked around, slowly realizing he wasn't in his bed at home. He was in a large tan room with barely any furniture. He looked to his left to find that Bridget was asleep on a couch, while Selena was asleep in an arm chair in the corner. He looked down. An IV was stuck in his left arm while his lower right arm was wrapped in a cast. Nick's head throbbed and he lifted his arm to rub his forehead to find that it was wrapped in gauze. What happened to me? He wondered, hoping that one of the girls would wake up. Just then Mitchell and David walked into the room, carrying trays of food. When they saw him they both smiled. "Morning sleepy head," David said, setting his tray of food down on the bedside table. He pulled it over to Nick so that he could eat. Nick nodded, thanking him. "Do either of you want to tell me what the hell happened to me? Why am I...uhm...here?" Nick didn't know exactly where he was but he knew it wasn't good. Mitchell sat down on the edge of Nick's bed. "We hung out a few days ago. You know, guy's night. On your way back home, some guy ran a red light. He was drunk and hit you head on. You're lucky to be alive, bro. You lost a ton of blood and your car...it doesn't even look like a car anymore." Nick was stunned. He remembered hanging out with the guys on Friday. "What day is it? How long have I been out?" "It's Friday. You've been out for about a week." He heard a grunt and turned to see Bridget stretch out on the couch. She sat up, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes and looked over at him. Her mouth dropped open and she stood up, practically running to him. "Nick!" She hugged him gently, careful not to hurt him more than he already was. "Oh my god! You're awake! Selena!" She shouted, walking over to her and shaking her shoulders. "What? What? What's going on?" "Nick's awake!" "WHAT?" Selena, too, ran over to him and gave him a hug and a quick peck on the cheek. "How are you feeling?" He didn't say anything. He was still trying to process everything going on. They all waited for him, giving him time to think. "I...I feel...weird. I don't remember a lot. And I'm so sore and bruised..." He looked down at his arms again which he now saw were severely bruised. "Is the other driver alright?" They glanced at each other, unhappy looks on their faces. "We have no idea. We didn't care enough to ask or check," David half smiled at him, almost apologetically. Nick looked at Bridget who had suddenly gone pale and had her hand over her mouth. "Bridget? Are you alright?" She shook her head, dashing to the other side of the room and into a bathroom. He could hear her vomit and that alone was enough to make him sick. He pulled the covers off of his legs and tried to get out of bed and go to her. Mitchell and Selena rushed over to him, gently pushing back on his shoulders. "You can't get out of bed, Hun. Your...your legs are broken." He looked down again. How hadn't he been able to see that? His legs were also in casts. He hung his head, feeling more unhappy and depressed by the minute. Bridget walked back into the room, whipping her chin and mouth with a washcloth. "Guys, can I have some time with Nick alone please?" They all nodded at her. "Sure." Selena patted Bridget's shoulder, gave her a kiss on the cheek and walked out of the room with the boys. Bridget came and sat down next to him, helping him put his legs back in the bed and under his covers. "Nicholas?" She looked over him, her eyes almost drowning in the beginning of tears. "We need to talk." He was confused. "What about, baby?" She looked down at her hands, twiddling her thumbs. "Nick...I....I have to tell you something." "What's wrong?" He was beginning to get worried. "Nick...I'm pregnant..." 1. How do you think Nick will react? 2. Do you think that Selena knows? 3. Should Bridget keep the baby? 4. Any other thoughts?
