Jan 8, 2012 - Shermer never made this clip out to disprove UFOs, only to show how photos aren't reliable. He had nothing to say about eyewitness accounts here. He goes into that in some of his books, although I'm on the fence about UFOs being spaceships or not. The photos are still unreliable. Eyewitness accounts are also less reliable than you think; our cognition and memory are prone to all kinds of errors and biases. My grandparents once saw a UFO--but they give contradictory accounts.
