He is so niched in by his voice so its a tough thing to put him with those greats who's voices really nailed something extra. I give him a lot dibs for ass kicking guitar but you got to look at the whole package- the overall value of the song and performance is mediocre and so he remains ambiguous in popularity.

This is my first time hearing it and I dig it. I was working at a customers house yesterday and I had the privilege to listen to a Junior Brown cd. His music takes me back to being a kid at my dads house. I like it a lot!
