The front portion of the table will feature a lift top which can extend over sofa or chair arms. The plans include a diagram and examples for determining proper leg height to ensure that lift action is not restricted. The lift-top table also features a sliding extension which will provide more room for a comfortable working surface when seated. The rear portion of the table features a hinged compartment for storage with two supporting lift arm mechanisms for the lid.
